Journals and Periodicals and Their Impact on the Development of Critical Research

The research aims to demonstrate the impact of journals and periodicals on the development of scientific research and its tools, highlighting their significant role in supporting scientific research, especially critical research. These publications help clarify literary issues and terms that have emerged in Arabic literature throughout the ages. Journalism is considered one of the most essential tools of the modern era, playing a crucial role in the Arab renaissance by allowing writers to publish their thoughts and opinions. Consequently, magazines that are considered pillars of literary research have been published and continue to this day, while others have ceased for various reasons.
With the establishment of Arab scientific academies, journals were issued with the goal of preserving and maintaining the Arabic language. Examples include “The Scientific Academy in Cairo,” “The Arabic Language Academy in Damascus,” and “The Iraqi Scientific Academy.” This research provides an overview of the development of journals in Iraq, discusses academic journals, and highlights the diverse perspectives and differing research and critical approaches of scholars on critical issues.

Obtaining Permission
In order to avoid unnecessary delays in the publication process, you should start obtaining permissions as early as possible. If in any doubt about the copyright, apply for permission. Al-Adab Journal cannot publish material from other publications without permission.
The copyright holder may give you instructions on the form of acknowledgement to be followed; otherwise follow the style: "Reproduced with permission from [author], [book/journal title]; published by [publisher], [year].' at the end of the caption of the Table, Figure or Scheme.
