The literary field has witnessed a remarkable engagement with artificial intelligence, whose role is no longer confined to generating prose or poetic texts. It has expanded to include the use of intelligent algorithms in the analysis of human-produced literary works and their examination through a deeply critical perspective.
The study explored the influence of artificial intelligence within the domain of mythological criticism, selecting Badr Shakir al-Sayyab’s poem “Anshudat al-Matar” (Rain Song) as its applied analytical corpus, given its status as a seminal example of mythopoetic deployment in modern Arabic poetry.
The study confirmed that this artificial intelligence was able to carry out a rigorous mythological analysis of the poem “Anshudat al-Matar” (Rain Song), demonstrating its capacity to uncover and interpret the latent mythological symbols embedded in the text, such as rain, woman, the sea, the hill, the moon, the crow, the serpent, and blood.
