Comprehensive personality of Abbas Mahmud al-Aqqad and his reputation and genius in literature from one direction and lack of cognition of literary and academic circles and the interation of literature and politics with him, factors led me to search for his literature and politics. there are men of letters ,their personality one dimensional. they don’t care about politics and its issues. but al-Aqqad combined both the wisdom and the sentiment, and has views and works in poetry ,literature, literary criticism, history, politics, sociology, psychology, philosophy and religion.
In this research ,we study the definition of literature and politics their subject and message and the al-Aqqad's literature and politics and how the theoretical coordination between politics and literature. addressing political affiliations and entry in to the fields ,and his hard political challenges and his motives for doing this, will be analyzed in this paper.
