الملخص

يستكشف هذا البحث تطبيق النظريات التاريخية التي وضعها السير جون جلوب وابن خلدون لتحليل الإمبراطوريات الحديثة، وتحديدًا الولايات المتحدة والصين. توفر المراحل الست للإمبراطوريات التي وضعها جلوب ومفهوم ابن خلدون للعصبية أطرًا قيمة لفهم ديناميكيات بناء الإمبراطوريات وانحدارها. يدرس البحث العوامل الرئيسية مثل القيادة والتماسك الاجتماعي والنمو الاقتصادي والنزاهة الأخلاقية في دعم قوة الدول الحديثة. من خلال مقارنة "عصر الانحطاط" الذي وضعه جلوب ونظريات ابن خلدون حول التفتت الاجتماعي، يحدد هذا البحث أهمية القيادة القوية والأخلاقية والوحدة في منع انحدار الإمبراطوريات. كما يؤكد البحث على الحاجة إلى الإصلاحات الاقتصادية والسياسية لضمان التوزيع المتوازن للثروة والحفاظ على الرخاء. من خلال عدسة التحليل التاريخي، يسلط البحث الضوء على أهمية هذه النظريات لفهم التحديات التي تواجه القوى المعاصرة. كما يقدم رؤى حول الاستراتيجيات التي يمكن أن تساعد في الحفاظ على حيوية الإمبراطوريات الحديثة ومرونتها. وفي نهاية المطاف، يؤكد هذا الكتاب على قيمة الدروس التاريخية في تشكيل المسارات المستقبلية للقوى العالمية.
