الملخص

ويُعدَّ التعليم الجامعي احد أهم العناصر في تطور المجتمع وسبب مهم في رفع مستوى المجتمع من جميع النواحي الثقافية، والفكرية ، والاجتماعية، والاقتصادية العلمية، ويعدّ التعليم الجامعي من وسائل التنمية والمهارات وبناء وإعداد القدرات المادية والبشرية التي تحتاجها القطاعات كافة، ومواكبة التطور العلمي والتكنولوجي؛ ان الهدف الاساس من التعليم الجامعي هو تخريج الطلبة لديهم الامكانية الهائلة في خدمة المجتمع وسوق العمل؛ إِذْ إنَّ المعلومات يكتسبها الطالب من الاستاذ ويربطها بالمجتمع الذي يعمل فيه، إن من ابرز المشكلات التي تواجه الدول المتقدمة والنامية هي مشكلة التعليم وللمراحل الدراسية المختلفة للمخرجات التعليمية كونها تُعدَّ من المشكلات التربوية والتعليمية الاساسية في النظام التعليمي، وهي ظاهرة من الظواهر التي تهدد كيان المجتمعات وتطورها وبالأخص عندما تكون المشكلة على مستوى التعليم الجامعي وتحقيق الاهداف المنشودة للجامعة بصورة خاصة والمجتمع بصورة عامة.

ان من عناصر التعليم الجامعي الاستاذ الجامعي، وطرائق التدريس، والطالب، والمنهج والمقررات الدراسية، وقد استعملت الباحثة المنهج المسحي والأخذ بالدراسة الوصفية الذي يعد من انسب المناهج لمقياس الدراسة المتمثلة بعينة من الجمهور الداخلي كجمهور الموظفين والاساتذة والطلبة، وتأتي هذه الدراسة في سياق التعرف على صورة الجامعات الحكومية والاهلية لدى الجمهور العراقي عن طريق قياس مدى معرفة الجمهور العراقي بالجامعات الحكومية والاهلية
