Abbasside Literature in AL-ADAB JOURNAL (ISSN: 1994-473X)
(In the Light of Historical Approach)

The historical approach stands at the forefront of external critical approaches dealing with the study and comparative analysis of literature In other contextual approaches, such as the social and psychological curriculum, it seeks to study what surrounds literature from circumstances and influences related to the literary work and affect its upbringing by evoking the environment and age of the writer, and he considered them as important factors in the crystallization and maturity of literature. It was noted in the Journal of the College of Arts that most of the published literature Abbasid literature is submitted to the historical method in its study, and this is evident through the selected models of the applied aspect.
This research included the study of the Abbasid literature in light of the historical method, studies of heritage verification, as it became active authoring movement in the field of literary heritage investigation, since this type of authorship is at the core of the historical method, in addition to studying literary biography that took an interest in the life of the creator and his biography as a starting point in the study of literature and its analysis is according to the historical method. I have used some samples from the research published in the Journal of the College of Arts in order to represent the applied side in the study of Abbasid literature.
