It seems that any approach to any new topic, or the attempt to establish a modern scientific discipline that has not been previously addressed, will contain in it some gaps, or theoretical and methodological lapses. Especially if this topic is a somewhat complicated issue, such as the issue of the Islamic religion. Therefore, it is very possible that after a period of time such as such new topics or disciplines will appear after its emergence, some critical voices that try to draw attention and indicate the places and potentials of those gaps or lapses. This matter will apply and correspond with a high degree of clarity with the critical voices that will appear in The field of anthropology of Islam, some of which will have two advantages: The advantage of belonging to the same field of study, anthropology. And the advantage of her belonging to the identity of the subject being studied, which is Islam. That is why the voices of Abdul Hamid Al-Zein, Talal Asad, and Akbar Ahmed were counted. In addition to Laila Abu-Lughod and Saba Mahmoud. It is one of the most important of those critical voices that resolved that, and appeared on the stage of the anthropology of Islam.
