Abstract

The research aims to uncover the spatial analysis of the uses of agricultural land in Babil Governorate, as well as the explanation of the reasons that result from the nature of the agricultural process in these crops in order to optimize the investment of agricultural land according to the natural and human potentials available within the study area. A great deal of natural factors in the variation of field crops in terms of the cultivated area and the suitability of the land for different crops due to the presence of fertile soil and the availability of water. The research was limited to (6) crops grown from them (wheat, barley, rice, yellow corn, mash, millet) with an area of ​​(459714) Dunums, with a productivity of (257512375) tons / year, on different areas through the agricultural lands.
