Social media and its impact on shaping public opinion regarding political issues
A survey study for the audience of the city of Baghdad, for the period (1/1/2019) to (10/2/2019)

This researcher seeks to shed light on social networking sites that works on framing communication process among large groups of society and make interactive P.O., P.O. can appear in the simplest sense on interactive units and the phenomenon of P.O. has its multi faces. So, P.O. is one of the elements and components of the process of interaction.
This research is a descriptive one in terms of its type. The researcher uses the survey method the research community and uses the questionnaire as a research tool. The research sample consists of 400 persons from Baghdad and particularly those who use social networking sites. The sample is distributed randomly.
This study ends with the following results:
- The majority of correspondents use social networking sites especially face book.
- Respondents believe that face book offers more knowledge of communication for them than other sites since is uses more images than reading.
