اعمال الحصاد في بلاد الرافدين القديم

اعتمد الانسان في قوته على الصيد وجمع النباتات البرية خلال العصور الحجرية كما انه استقر في مناطق مفتوحة وقرب منابع المياه وبدء يزرع بعض النباتات لتسد من حاجته فضلا عن مزاولة جمع المحاصيل البرية اذ زرع الانسان كل نبتة ذات فائدة له. وكشفت التنقيبات على ادوات حجرية تدل على ان الانسان قد تعلم الزراعة ومن بين هذه الادوات هي المناجل وقد عثر عليها في بعض مواقع العصر الحجري الوسيط مثل كهف زرزي وموقع زاوه جمي ولكن لم يعثر في الموقع الاخير على حبوب متفحمة ومن المعروف ان المناجل تستخدم للحصاد والسؤال هنا بماذا تستخدم المناجل ولم تتم اكتشاف الزراعة بعد؟ والجواب يذكره الاستاذ طه باقر بان المناجل استخدمت لحصد الحبوب البرية وبعض النباتات الاخرى. ومن هذا نعرف ان عملية الحصاد قد عرفها الانسان قبل البدء بالزراعة باعتماد طعامه على النباتات البرية.
