This research examined the relationship between intellectual security and digital skills among students at the University of Sharjah. The study relied on a questionnaire to collect data from 200 participants representing various specializations and educational levels at the university. The results showed that students have a high awareness of the importance of intellectual security and are highly aware of the role of digital skills in enhancing this awareness and protecting them from extremist and misleading ideas. The study also showed that social media plays a pivotal role in shaping students' intellectual concepts, which highlights the need for conscious and thoughtful use of these platforms. The study showed that there is a strong relationship between digital proficiency and the level of intellectual security, as digital skills contribute to enhancing the ability to think critically and make informed decisions. In addition, the study confirmed that digital technology greatly helps in maintaining stable intellectual awareness among students, indicating the need to integrate digital skills into educational curricula, to be an essential part of comprehensive strategies to achieve intellectual security in the contemporary educational environment.
