The study aims to determine the impact of artificial intelligence applications in criminal investigations on the Ministry of Interior in the United Arab Emirates. This is achieved by assessing the extent to which AI technology is utilized in combating crime during investigations, identifying the most commonly used AI applications in crime monitoring, monitoring the challenges affecting the use of AI technologies in reducing crime, and assessing the capabilities of Ministry of Interior employees in using these technologies to combat crime. The study will use a descriptive and analytical approach, given its relevance to the subject matter. The study reached several important conclusions, the most important of which are: AI is effectively implemented at the Ministry of Interior according to a specific strategy to address security challenges and maintain security and stability, thus supporting the success of all operations and services provided by the Ministry of Interior. This is due to the availability of a suitable environment and infrastructure. Based on these findings, the following recommendation was made: Develop a project to continuously enhance the vital digital infrastructure at the Ministry of Interior, thereby increasing the ability to employ AI applications distinctively and securely.
