The impact of educational level on security awareness of Sharjah Police in preventing electronic fraud

This research aims to study the impact of educational level on the awareness of the importance of Sharjah Police security awareness in preventing electronic fraud. This applied study was conducted on the residents of the Emirate of Sharjah, and included citizens and residents of all nationalities. A questionnaire was distributed to the participants, numbering 254, to learn about the impact of educational level on the awareness of the importance of Sharjah Police security awareness in preventing electronic fraud. The results revealed a positive relationship between educational level and the high level of awareness of the importance of security awareness. It was found that individuals with higher educational levels were more aware of the importance of security awareness and its role in reducing electronic fraud. It was noted that this increased awareness leads to more effective procedures in protecting personal information and reducing the chances of falling victim to electronic fraud, which reflects the need to enhance security awareness programs in a manner that is consistent with different educational levels and to work on developing innovative educational strategies targeting the less educated groups to raise their awareness of the importance of security awareness, and thus enhance the preventive efforts of Sharjah Police in combating electronic fraud and protecting society in all its categories from these increasing crimes.
