Abstract

 The good scholars throughout the ages have been interested in the Qur’an and its sciences, and science varies and differs, and scholars compete and struggle, even if each has a rank and destiny.  The modest research found several things, including:

  • The scholars are unanimously agreed that the seven recitations are continuous to the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and only a few deviated from this consensus.
  • It is permissible to recite in prayer and others with each of the seven readings.
  • There is a difference between the seven letters and the seven readings, which we explained in the research.
  • A portion he had heard contained many frequent readings
