The impact of information governance in enhancing the scientific level of students of primary studies

Abstract

This study aims to identify the impact of information governance in enhancing students' educational level, and specify the significant variations according to the study variables (Information System as independent variable and Educational Level as dependent variable) for the sample of the study. Questionnaire tool has been utilized which has been applied for random sample represented by faculty members selected from different universities which are (Mustansiriyah University, University of Technology, Baghdad University). The questionnaire is divided into two main axes, the first one is compound of (6 aspects), while the second one is compound of (3 aspects) with 45 phrases as total questions.

     The most distinguished results of the study proof that there is a significant impact for the independent variable (Information system) on the dependent one (educational level). Where the explanation factor was (46.50%), which represent the ratio of the independent variables impact, and the rest (53.50%), belong to other variables. This proofs the strength of information system variable and its positive effect upon the study results. Accordingly, there are some recommendations have been formulated which are the necessity of governance adoption in academic educational institutions in order to enhance the organizations effectiveness, in addition to spread the informational consciousness in terms of information governance, including transparency standards. The thing that reflects the developments in organizations performance and efficiency.
