The Function of Verbs in Selections from the Poetic Collection (If I Had a Thousand Pens) by the poet "Jaleh Esfahani"

Since the verb is one of the most important grammatical categories that make up the sentence and its center of gravity, it has been studied in this research according to the theory of the five verbal verbs. This was applied to selected poems by the poet "Jaleh Esfahani" according to the descriptive analytical method. Here we are going to point out the most important results we have reached:
the poet used (emotional expressive) verbs more than others, because she was visualizing and building her imaginary world by making use of these verbs. Then, (the persuasion verb) comes next, which also had a great use in the systems of these poems, where the poet uses it to entice her interlocutors with her potential ideal world. It is noteworthy that the (predicative and obligatory) verbs were the least to be utilized, as Jaleh Esfahani did not benefit from them in the formulation of these poems except in a very rare way, and this is due to the limited characteristics and functions via by these verbs.
