Revenge Behavior and its Relation with Anti-Social Personality Disorder

Among the much negative behavior spread in our community in the last years is committing revenge away from the sight of law and system, whether these behaviors are implemented in an individual or collective way, the result leads to the disruption of social cohesion, disruption of social associations and disintegration of social relations. The present study assumes that those who conduct these behaviors are people who are characterized by an antisocial personality disorder. Therefore, the researchers measured these two variables in 225 university students and found the difference on the basis of gender and specialization by applying two measures of revenge and an antisocial personality disorder. The results showed that the sample of the study is not characterized by revenge behavior. There are no difference in the level of the variables (gender and specialization), while the results showed that they suffer from the antisocial personality disorder. No difference was found at the level of the sex variable but there was a difference based on the specialization variable in favor for the humanities specialization. It is shown that there is a function between the two variables and the results are interpreted in light of social theory. Several recommendations and proposals are made
