Abstract

Iraq's climate has seen for the Cenozoic (fourth time), )Pleistocene and Holocene) climatic changes in several, and most important of these changes are periods icy successive, which contributed one way or another in the extinction of a large range of animals and plants, and the growth and development of another group, the study aims to reading and analysis of the reference books that mentioned climate change, as well as mention the most important relics unearthed and which demonstrate the growth and reproduction of some of the plants and animals that were famous for Mesopotamia and most important of these animals are lions, and elephants, and the huge mule deer, and birds.
